Przekaż informację zwrotnąI was there twice now and every time it was eating and the atmosphere was really good. the personal was very nice and friendly and has checked us more than once. I recommend the fish plate lukas and also the fish soup
We came to lunch on a Sunday and the place was full of German families, which we thought was a good sign. we ordered a Russian appetizer fish soup, the fish plate and a whole baked dory. the fish soup was delicious.
We were in Schwerin and saw the recommendations for this restaurant so we wanted to try. It was only possible to get a table Tuesday evening (we tried to get one Sunday or Monday, but fully booked so it is a popular place and...reservations seem to be a must! Central location. Nice ambience in the restaurant. Very nice staff as well. The food could be better, however. A little surprise to us after all the fine notes on Tripadvisor. A Bruschetta as starter was boring to say the least! Olive oil missing. The Fischsoljanka (soup) was sweet, and the small pieces of fish had the skin on (soft fish skin is really not delicate to our opinion). Maindish Fischplatte Lukas was with sorts of fish, good and with fine small potatoes but with vegetable asortment so soft that they were either over boiled (or I believe was from a frozen bag with mixed greens). Not so good! The fried Heerings were very good! Made first in vinegar and then fried on the pfanne. Tasty and nice. We had a fine Weissburgunder to join the meal. Price for was Eur All in all acceptable meal, but far from the many five stars recommendations which brought us there.
We enjoyed very much our visits at the Lukas. The restaurant offers a regional variety of nice fish dishes. The beer is good the deserts have been tasty. It is highly recommended to make a reservation.
T/A reviews generally suggest a higher standard than we experienced. Key elements of our experience as follows: Welcome Greeting: Poor, didn't get any sense of welcome or warmth, shown to a small table in the back with no other diners and jammed against a...wall zero ambience there were plenty of better tables available. We asked to be moved and were but the second barely any better. No-one appeared interested in our table, were not offered and aperatif without promting. Staff seemed to have eyes looking everywhere except at tables looking for service. The food: Mixed views.....the clear fish soup was quite nice, wife's Tagliatelle with pesto, king prawns monkfish was actually very good. I chose the schnitzel.....which was....well just like any other...large,slightly dry and otherwise unremarkable.....nothing wrong with it but maybe i just chose badly. Wine list: Average at best and quite expensive. Ambience: Close to none.....no engagement with staff who came and went but no interaction and you got the impression they were just uninterested, maybe I'm wrong just my impression. Value: Hard to say it was value overall. Would I return? No, there are several other establishments with good or better food and better value- Try Weinhaus Uhle or La Bouche
