Taj Mahal - Schweinfurt

Delicious Indian restaurant. Order the Lamb Tika Masala. Curry was great. Rice and garlic naan were also really good

Excellent food, good service, centrally located in Schweinfurt. We ordered Chili Chicken, Lamb Kebab Masala and Galicia Naan. Great value for money!

My last meal in Taj was above average. The youngest one was a pretty disappointment. The prices were higher than I remembered my last visit. The bread selection was the smallest I've ever seen in an Indian restaurant on three continents. Indian bread is always a highlight for me. In Taj it was below average for the poor. My wife found her meal a little above average. My lamb Vindaloo was the worst thing I ever had. The meat was hard and strict. The sauce was neither very sharp nor very well seasoned. An Indian restaurant without Indian beer is a tragedy. Service (from the same waiter we had last time) was not particularly professional during this visit. A customer at another table sent his drink back for something that floats in it. Maybe it was just a bad day, but I can't rate the Taj anymore than the best Indian restaurant in Schweinfurt.

Einfach Spitzenklasse erstklassisches Restaurant mit Indischer Küche ,sehr nette bedienung, das Essen schmeckt sehr lecker. Es gibt zwar an bestimmten Tagen ein Buffet,wir hatten aber keine gelegenheit dieses auszutesten.Alles in allem ein sehr lecker zubereitetes indisches essen

A customer at another table sent his drink back because of something floating in it. Perhaps this was just a bad day, but I can no longer rate the Taj as the best Indian restaurant in Schweinfurt.
