I visited this establishment in 2011 and tried Kloister Kruezburg beer for the first time. In my opinion one of the best beers I have had the pleasure of drinking. Well, 6 years later I finally returned and the same lady was there at the door too. I asked if they had that beer and it was on tap ( I think it always is). So my co-worker took a seat out in the beer garden and enjoyed a mug. Seriously, I love this monastery beer. Made the trip to the monastery the weekend after drinking it the first time and that's a memory never forgotten too Stop in! Enjoy this beer and a ranch over from Bamberg. It's an acquired taste for a smoke beer. But once you have the first one down, they go down easily.
