Hotel Steiger - Schwangau

La comida es exquisita pero los camareros no hablan inglés. No se ve mucho extranjero en el restaurante. El servicio fue muy lento, teníamos que llamarles la atención para que nos hicieran caso.

Wir waren im Juni mit einer Gruppe von 8 Personen zum Abendessen im Hotel Steiger. Die Reservierung wurde von Einheimischen gemacht, da wir das Hotel/Restaurant Steiger nicht kannten. Die Speisenkarte fanden wir sehr dünn. Vorwiegend etwas für angehende Vegetarier. Fleischesser kommen im Restaurant Steiger nicht so auf Ihre Kosten. Insgesamt war das Essen für uns enttäuschend. Preis/Leistung stimmt irgendwie nicht.

The cafe was recommended by our hotel. We arrived too early and were not able to check in. The food was good, but the view was great. You may see castle from patio. There was a small herb garden so lots of bees if you are outdoors. The food was okay but the desserts are amazing!

Ох, как же нам там было хорошо! Мы приехали в Швангау в субботу под вечер, и отправились в Steiger по рекомендации хозяйки нашего отеля.Приветливая фрау для начала по-доброму нас отчитала за то, что мы не забронировали столик заранее. Потом нас тут же усадили за свободный столик, и кроме нас на него претендентов больше не было.Ели, конечно же, всё самое традиционное: колбаски с горчицей и хреном, шницель, капусту, пили пиво, наслаждались атмосферой.Подозреваю, что днём там должен быть потрясающий вид из окон,а нам досталась прекрасная прогулка обратно в отель с созерцанием звездного неба, освещенных замков и подъемников.

We ate here twice. The first time was reasonable. The second time we booked and arrived n time. We wer totally ignored by the staff for about 5 mins. A German couple , who had not booked, took our table and we were made to feel very uncomfortable when we said we would like the table that we had particularly booked. When we finally ordered , after a very long wait, my sister's meal never arrived . She had only a salad starter, which was self service. We had no apologies and no extra s as compensation. This restaurant only accepts German credit cards.We were made to feel very uncomfortable in this restaurant and would not recommend It to anyone.
