Stewart's Shops - Schroon Lake

In April 2024, I stopped at this place for gas after dining at The Brown Swan at Schroon Lake Lodge. I decided to check out the convenience store for customers. Inside, there was a section where patrons could purchase homemade ice cream in various forms - cones, cups, or shakes. They had a diverse range of flavors to choose from. Additionally, there were self-serve warm cases offering pizza, breakfast, and lunch sandwiches. The aisles were stocked with typical snacks, frozen foods, energy drinks, newspapers, automotive supplies, and cellphone accessories. The store also had two bathrooms and a few tables with benches for customers who wished to sit and eat before leaving. A sign by the gas pumps mentioned that Stewart's offers the best fresh local New York state milk.
