Limestone Cafe - SCHOFIELDS

Walked in, many folks behind the counter and we stood for over 10 minutes at the stand that said "please wait to be seated" When we asked a question They looked at us as "how dare you bother us"We walked out Better places to spend my $$$$Ciao

I didn't expect this place to be high quality.....but it is. I had the rib eye (medium) and it was cooked to perfection. One of the best steaks I have had in the past 5 years. My wife had the homemade ravioli which was delicious. I'm honestly taken aback by the quality of this place. Oh yeah we had the obligatory pastizzi for an entree and they were superb. I must congratulate the chefs on there total dedication.

Visited during the week for a morning tea get together.The coffee was good, after the initial mix up with another tables order and lack of acknowledgement of their mistake. Th atmosphere is friendly with different table and chair combinations and stool seating, cake display and wall mural. The menu sounds enticing, we only ventured to fruit flans which were laden with beautiful berries.Will return for a meal .

Walked in for lunch and they were busy. Didn't even acknowledge us - the staff was just walking around us. When we stopped someone and asked for a table they rudely said that they were full up and couldn't accommodate.Went elsewhere. The food may be good but the staff really need some customer service training.

Love this cafe, great food, great Maltese food, nice coffee, great service, nice variety to choose from. Definitely recommended !
