Log Cabin - SCHOFIELD

We typically stop here for breakfast, which has always been excellent. However, this time we decided to have lunch with my family. I ordered the meatloaf sandwich, which came with mashed potatoes. It seemed like the meatloaf had been pre-baked and then grilled to warm it up for the sandwich. Unfortunately, it contained some gristle that I couldn't chew and was fairly flavorless. The mashed potatoes were instant and also lacked any taste. My daughter chose the turkey club and requested American cheese instead of Swiss. She was surprised to find that they had just sprinkled some American cheese on top of the sandwich instead of using a slice. Additionally, there were only small pieces of tomato on the edges of the quartered club sandwich. Overall, we were quite disappointed with the meal. On a positive note, the service was good, and we had a lovely waitress. In the future, we'll stick with their breakfast menu.

Whether you're looking for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, the Log Cabin offers a little bit of everything. I haven't visited frequently, but each time I do, the food is consistently hot and delicious. The staff is incredibly friendly and always attentive, checking in to see how you're doing. Unlike many other restaurants, they don't pressure you to order extras like dessert. The place is also very clean, with well-maintained tables and seats that reflect proper care. Overall, it's a lovely restaurant, and I highly recommend giving it a try!

I met my son, daughter-in-law, and grandson for breakfast this morning at a local favorite spot. The service was quick, and our server, who was new and a bit nervous, did an excellent job. All of our food arrived at the same time. My grandson loved his blueberry pancake and finished it all! Our table was soon filled with empty plates. Our coffee cups were continually refilled right up until we finished paying the bill. We will definitely be returning and highly recommend that others do the same!
