Canali's - Schenectady

Hands down, the best restaurant I've been to in a long time! The food is amazing and the portions are huge. You definitely need to check it out if you haven't already been there!

In 1980, we enjoyed a fantastic dinner at Canali's. The roasted chicken and kartoffel, as well as the melt-in-your-mouth veal parmesan, were unforgettable. Even after moving to Florida in 1983, the memories of that meal at Canali's have stayed with me. According to my friends, it is still considered a true symbol of authentic Italian cuisine.

I have always enjoyed the fresh pasta at this restaurant. The creamy tomato basil pasta is a standout dish, especially when compared to the others on the menu. I also tried the creamy potato and leek soup as an appetizer, and it was simply amazing!

Good food and good service at a good price. the photo is of seafood pescatore (shrimp, sea mussels, mosquitoes and muscles in a marinara sauce over linguini) and it is delicious. their portions are really good, which means that they do not go to home hungry and there are always enough rest for another meal. call them ahead to make reservations, as the place in the rule is busy.

Hands down the best place I’ve been too in a long time! Food is amazing and huge portions! All together it’s a must experience if u haven’t been there yet!
