I like a food bar when I can get one from Wegman's so I thought I would try Whole Foods. The food in the Hot bar that I bought was the Lemon Pollock and the Steamed Broccoli. IT weighed in at a pound but the container is not travel friendly. By the time I returned to my room a mile away, the food was cold and the broccoli was notably crunchy from being under cooked. The food I bought from the cold bar was good and transported well. I got some fresh grapes and strawberries as well as Greek Peasant Salad.
A cool coffee shop in the heart of Schaumburg. Menu items are well priced with tasty coffee varieties. Specialty coffee is well balanced and not too sweet. Some food and pastries from local bakeries available. Super friendly service!
At least two confirmed cases of covid at this location amongst the employees and they're not quarantining anyone and staying open and not shutting down for the two week period and doing a deep cleaning!!! you have been warned!!!!
Kudos to this Whole Foods location during the pandemic. They check driver licenses for age before entering during the hour designated for Senior hour. The line is organized and entry is coordinated. Contrast this to the Whole Foods in Wheaton where customers are not carded and they stand in a pack rushing the door. The Wheaton location is also swarmed with personal shoppers who run in front of people like shopping is a competition to be won. Whole Foods in Schaumburg is where you want to shop.
I ordered Whole Foods products thru Amazon. The shopper/packer couldn 't have been properly trained. Of course I was given a refund which doesn 't do much good when I still needed the items ordered. See photos. (This happened during Illinois ' covid19 protocol shelter at home. I am 61 with an underlying condition that makes it very important to follow this protocol)
