Escape Lounge - Schaumburg

I wanted to try this restaurant for my friend's 25th birthday since it's within walking distance of DRINK, so we thought we’d give the competition a chance. However, as soon as we walked in, I felt uncomfortable. The staff were laughing and staring at us from afar while we tried to enjoy our first and only drink. The bartender was the only truly welcoming employee. It was clear from the atmosphere that we weren't exactly wanted there, which might be acceptable in some social situations but is definitely not good for business. I won’t be returning, nor will I recommend this place to anyone I know.

To make matters worse, we received conflicting information about the cover charge from two different employees, each quoting different amounts. It was clear that the establishment was more focused on making money than on providing good service. With a large group of 12, you certainly lost our business. We decided to leave and went next door to a place called DRINK, where we were warmly welcomed, in stark contrast to our experience at Escape. As someone who works in customer service, I believe it’s crucial to make clients feel valued and to address their needs. I suggest you evaluate your company’s goals if you want to be seen as a reputable establishment. I would rate you one star, but if it were possible to give zero stars, I would. Consider yourselves fortunate!

Our group was just informed that there’s a $45 cover charge. The older gentleman said it, and I initially thought he was joking. Don’t waste your time here.

Supposed to be Bulgarian restraint but there is nothing Bulgarian Music makes you leave right away ... You have to ask server to come and take order They served drinks in broken glasses They modified an order without asking if it’s gonna be ok but brought it after it’s ready so you have no choice

Best place for BALKAN Entertainment in north Suburbs chicago !! The calamari whas amazing !!!! The atmosphere i greath!! 5 star for sure !!
