Bacowka - Schaumburg

OMG this place is amazing! If you grew up eating Polish food, or at least enjoy the flavors of The Old Country this is the place!Without exception, everything we ate here was at least very good if not great! The atmosphere is rustic and the menu is in Polish (with english translations. Polish pop music on the radio!So many of the dishes tasted very close to what my dearly departed mom made. Kelbasa, sauerkraut, pierogies, potato pancakes, golabki. It was like going home to dinner after a long time away! It warmed me inside and made my tastebuds dance. Thank you for bringing me back to that time, Bacowska. I can't say enough about the food made here! Please go there and try for yourself. You will NOT be disappointed! Don't forget the dessert blintzes!!

Yum! Wonderful home style cooking. Had the sampler plate and I'm stuffed but oh so happy. Good smoked polish sausage, great cabbage roll, potato pancakes, and so much more. Made with love!<br/ <br/ Hubby had pork goulash and loved it. Also nice beer offering he really liked the dark porter.<br/ <br/ Believe it or not shared a cheese crepe/blintz which was wonderful the crepe was so tender! <br/ <br/ We can't wait to come back.

It been a while since I have been to Bacowka. The wait staff was great. I like to pleasant they were to me. The even helped recommend dishes! The ambiance in the store was great! The food was amazing. If I could I would get a new dish every time! I highly recommend anyone who wants polish food to give this place a try.

If you want amazing authentic polish food, this is the place to go. Beautiful restaurant and very kind server's. You will not be disappointed.

Very tasty and very large portions. Not to overeat (as many as two de volaille chops per serving! , but take-out is available. Very polite and friendly service. I truly recommend.
