Great bagels, made fresh, they don't have much else, small line at 8AM Sunday moves fast, cash only.
At first I was not happy with the three Russian-speaking young girls who took over the counter. I thought they were rude at times. However, they work fast and I figured that their English isn't their forte so I still go back for my Nova Lox.
There is no better place for bagels than here. Unlike other bagel shops that sell mass-produced goods, these bagels are deliciously full, fluffy, and moist. Chef Kuss is exceptional. I am excited to return, but next time I will make sure to go early.
This small and slightly old-fashioned restaurant serves very delicious bagels that are not the best in the city, but possibly the best in Westchester. The non-traditional bagel flavors like multigrain, pumpernickel, and rye taste better than the regular white ones. The onion and whole wheat bagels are the best options here. It's recommended to come early as the selection can be limited closer to closing time at 2pm. While these bagels are smaller compared to those in NYC, they still hold their own against local competition.
