I said with the waiter what happens when there's a problem with the food he gave me annoying one. Smile and didn't say anything. as always our food came. the fish looked great until they were cut in; while the top was excellent, the edges were really hard and dried and the ones below were just soggy, there were also not much fish under fat and teig. the sampi was obviously really nice. the chips were terrible. limp and you could squeeze the fat out of them. they glittered with fat. we sat for an inappropriate time before someone came by and noticed our most untouched teller, asked if everything was in order. one of the main things has been reimbursed, fair enough, but the declaration that the chips were made from new kartoffels, and they tend to be fatter and limper only harmful. Finally, if they know it will be substandard why it is serving? especially in a city that houses mccains, there are many chips better than what was served here. the staff apologised and, as I said, refunded the fish and chips meal, but quite why they served something so poor at first that their chips were bad is beyond me.
I called here for a quick lunch while visiting Scarborough. shown on a selection of tables, picking the stand type seat, which is extremely small for 2 adult and 2 children our choice though. for lunch. I have a beer with my lunch, but... at over £5 per pint I have released this idea very quickly! we ordered 2 x cheese ham panini with a side of chips, 1 child nuggets chips and 1 thunfisch jacket kartoffel with the drinks is a pot tee for 2, regularly latte and a glass milk that we were almost £45.00 for! quality was about what she would get in most boxes types. the jacket was very warm, paninis were reasonable, but served with soggy, frozen chips. the girl who put back the tables did this in the home of a baby elephant, locked tables and chairs unnecessary. I would not go back or recommend this place.
When visiting Scarborough we always come to this restaurant to eat something. before we even entered, we were helped directly at the door for our children's wheelchair by the nice worker chris. chris is a real credit to the company. so beautiful, attentive and really busy with our daughter. eating was amazing, good size fractions, the chips are amazing, the tasted as my mother used to make them. you can't go to Scarborough and not eat here, you'd be good and truy missing. I highly recommend it.
Called here on a very wet day and were warmly welcomed by the lovely staff even though both us and our dog were dripping copiously on their floor! Had a lovely espresso, sandwiches and chips superb quality food! We lingered until the rain...passed and got the opportunity to watch the staff at work as the place filled up they are very kind, very patient and extremely hard working! To keep a smile on your face when you're super busy is a difficult skill to master and these guys managed it. We will return without hesitation in the future and huge thanks to letting us dry off with you last week! :
Enjoyed a Sunday lunch here, it did however take ages to come. Heating not very good especially as it was winter, I ate with my coat on. Staff were very friendly . Wheelchair accessible but space limited to bar area.
