Seafood Shack - Scarborough

I had 3 oysters from the Seafood Shack. I have eaten fresh oysters at many places around the world; none better than these. Large, fresh, tasty with a dash of tabasco sauce to set them off. I believe they were Pacific Oysters from Lindisfarne. I cannot wait for the next opportunity to sample these oysters

During my visit, this small restaurant served me the most delicious food. I enjoyed crayfish, prawns, and three incredibly fresh oysters, which were some of the best I've ever had, despite trying them all over the world.

We purchased cockles and prawns for £12, but ended up throwing them in the bin. The prawns were small and lacking in flavor, and even the vinegar was diluted. It appeared that the ingredients were sourced from a budget supermarket. We recommend avoiding this restaurant at all costs.

If you believe that deep frying takes away from the flavor of seafood, this restaurant is the perfect spot for a quick bite. The dressed crab was delicious, with a fresh taste and tasty whelks. The only downside was the lack of mayonnaise available. The crab sandwich was decent but didn't particularly stand out.

The oysters here were fantastic chosen, shucked and prepared right before your eyes and were really tasty. The Octopus was great too (and the crab)... a lovely little fresh snack as you walk along the harbour!
