Red Square Scarborough

I absolutely love this place! The staff are incredibly friendly and amazing, and the cocktails are outstanding. I would give it 5 stars!

The team here is friendly and helpful, and the location is great for exploring the opposite side of Scarborough. It's an excellent spot for breakfast with a good selection. The room was very comfortable, although it was a bit warm, but that might just be me. A fan during the summer could be a nice addition, as the sun shines in the room for most of the day. Overall, I would definitely visit again.

We received a warm welcome upon arrival, and the room was lovely with a very comfortable bed. On our first night, we decided to dine in, and we ended up eating at the restaurant both nights of our stay. The menu was exceptional, and we particularly enjoyed the selection of "small bites." Breakfast was also fantastic. The staff were incredibly accommodating, and nothing seemed to be too much trouble for them. We used to frequent a "Gate to Hotel" in Scarborough, but it has since closed. Since then, we've tried a few different places, but this one has truly impressed us and provided a wonderful experience. We had a Sunday lunch in the bar. It was the only meal offered that day. I'm a vegetarian so I had the meal without meat incl. non meat gravy. (A nut roast would have been a good alternative to the meat. Fresh properly cooked food delicious. It was very busy but we didn't have to wait for long. We've been in the week on many occasions where a full menu incl. vegetarian options are available. I can't comment on the rooms as I've never stayed overnight.

After a lengthy interval (covid etc), we recently popped in for drinks were reminded what a great hotel bar restaurant The Crescent Hotel is. We came again for dinner were blown away by the quality sirloin steak with all the trimmings. Highly recommended.
