Gala Coffee - Scarborough

I discovered this charming cafe today while out with my friends and kids. The woman working there was very kind, and she even let my son borrow her phone charger.

I'm sorry, but they only accept cash. This means we weren't able to try the coffee.

This café in Scarborough was the first to receive an outdoor seating license in 1992, allowing for al fresco dining. It offers a fantastic view of South Beach, the bridge, and Blue Roundabout. Located next to the currently closed Rotunda Museum, the café serves homemade soups and has friendly staff. The walls are adorned with original artworks available for purchase. I enjoyed a delicious two-cheese salad and spiced orange tea, both generously portioned. I would definitely return, although it is a cash-only establishment with no restroom facilities on site.

Dog-friendly, good eating, beautiful view from caffe.

Large small "hole in the wall" caffe right next to rotunda museum with some excellent unique outside seats on the slope. very good gluten-free options for such a small caffe and very clean and with excellent service to go with. find a sunny morning and take a place outside!
