Uptown Fine Carribean Restaurant

I was looking forward to discovering and authentic "hole in the wall" Caribbean diamond in the rough. Instead I found a run down take out locale with little character. The food was nothing to write home about. The jerk chicken was good, but the side was simply rice, no plantains or beans or other Jamaican influenced side dishes.

Every time I go to Toronto I stay at the Best Western on Estate Drive. This restaurant is within walking distance. I always get the jerk which is available in chicken, goat etc. It is as close as you can get to having a meal in the Caribbean. It is strictly a take out so I just take it back to the hotel. Try it. You won't be disappointed!

I go here every time I am in Toronto. It is as close to a real Caribbean food as you will ever get. Their jerk items are excellent.

I always go here to get take out (no dine in) when I am in Toronto. I stay at the Best western nearby. The food is authentic and I really enjoy any of their jerk meals., Why not give it a try too! You won't be disappointed.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. The food was not good at all. The curry was watery and tasted terrible, almost like a soup.
