Tak Fu Dim Sum Emperor - Scarborough

This is a really good dimsum place. I rate this a 4.5 stars relative to other dimsum places in the area. We ordered a good amount for our party and the food comes out quick enough.The food that we ordered were all delicious and some we ordered for another round including the fried squid tentacles and deep fried shrimp dumpling which was large. Others we ordered were tasty also like pork steamed bun, pork ribs, siumai, pork sti ky rice and chicken feet.However, other places do not charge for tea and it looks like they did here. The prices were typical. The servers were alright.

This place is busy/popular, but it didn't take too long to be seated (3ppl), The staff is very friendly even though we didn't speak the same language. The food was very good, fast service and the traditional Dim Sum servings and style, I left happy and full! I would go back!

Great place, its a small Dim Sum place, but the food was excellent. Really well done. We saw a lot of regulars when we came in the afternoon which is already a good sign that the food was good.The Dim Sum is really well done and a cut above the other restaurants in the same area. The price for the food is reasonable because the quality of the Dim Sum was super.We will come again.Thank you.Parking: Lots of parking, should not be a problem.

The service also left much to be desired. I typically don’t criticize service at small mom-and-pop dim sum places, but this was excessive. We were ignored multiple times when asking for the bill and also when we requested help to cut our food—a common courtesy in dim sum dining. Instead, we were provided with tiny scissors that barely worked. We found ourselves having to flag down staff at least two or three times just to get basic assistance, which was incredibly frustrating. Additionally, the restaurant lacks wheelchair accessibility.

Delicious dim sum! This is one of the few remaining places that truly gets dim sum right. The portion sizes are generous, the quality is exceptional, and everything is incredibly tasty.
