The service was extremely slow during my visit on a quiet Sunday night when the restaurant was entirely empty. It still took them 20 minutes to prepare a burger and poutine. I wonder what could be so interesting that it distracted them from their work.

So, I called the Warden location and explained the situation, but they told me they couldn't cancel the order or issue a refund and that I would need to go there in person, which was quite inconvenient for me. However, the gentleman at the Sheppard store was incredibly helpful. He recognized that the issue was related to the app because he could see the completion screen showing my correct order address while also noticing the Warden address listed in the order section. My email confirmation also had the right address, confirming that the problem was with the app. Understanding that I wasn't going to make the trip to the Warden store, the Sheppard staff member generously offered me a free Mama burger and drink to compensate for the trouble, even though it wasn’t his store that received the order and the Warden location had made the profit from the pickup. I really appreciate this gentleman's kindness—he might have been the manager—because he went above and beyond to help me. As of now, I have to wait until tomorrow for a callback from the Warden store about this issue. I have also reached out to A&W Canada regarding the problems with their app.
