Butera's Of Sayville

The food was excellent, and the service was top-notch. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to friends and family.

The menu should include individual pricing in addition to the family-style pricing, as not everyone prefers family-style dishes.

The service is outstanding, and the portions of food are quite generous.

This is the first time I've been to Buteras in quite awhile since I stopped going there due to bad service. Went for lunch on a quiet Sunday with my husband, with minimal people in the restaurant. The food was good and came quickly, but as what I typically find with Buteras of Sayville, the service is slow. Servers (or in this case, server since I believe there was only one working) is pleasant enough and everything we received matched our order, but it's just too slow. It should not take 90+ minutes to eat lunch and get a check paid. We sat at our table for at least 20 minutes after the check was presented and nobody ever came back to take the check. We even tried to pay the hostess, but she would not take the check and had us wait for the waiter to pay. Management was either not available or was showing the restaurants for a potential party customer. This was a bad way to end what could have been a perfectly good meal. Unfortunately I still have a gift card to use at Buteras, so that would be the only reason to go back.
