ChocoBanana - Sayulita

En general, la comida llegó muy pronto y era muy rica, sin embargo la atención no era la mejor y el suelo era extremadamente resbaladizo. Tiene wifi y eso es un gran punto.

Had a lentil burger and my parter had chickpea burger (his was wayyyyy better) Coffees were refilled at no extra cost and on another visit we tried the iced coffee (ice cubes with coffee too)

We were excited to try this place out after reading about it on happy cow, but when we arrived the menu has lots of the “v” with the leaf on it, but some of the items were clearly not vegan (like ahi fish tacos), and a lot of the sauces I was surprised to see vegan. In small print on the menu, the V says it stands for vegetarian (which still fish isn’t vegetarian), and I asked the server about the chocolate on the bananas he checked the ingredients list on the container and it has milk powder! Do not eat here if vegan. Some of the other “imitation” choco bananas in town are in fact vegan, not having milk in their chocolate.

We tried one with sprinkles and it was good, none of the issues mentioned in other reviews.

Got the pancake with jam and it was... OK. It was in the center of town so there's a lot going on there. There were Aztec Dancers performing 20 feet away in the town center. Later a woman with a guitar and amp played a Bill Withers song very well (Ain't No Sunshine). The decaf coffee was nice.
