Primos Pizzeria - Sayreville

It's so refreshing to see a new tenant in formerly Frank's pizza. I only had a slice but they are friendly and the pizza is quite cheesey Otherwise just like Franks but all the lights are on. However just like Franks, the bathroom is out of order.

Pizza was excellent. That's what the three stars vote is for. Unfortunately, we wanted the extra large 18 pie and that fell short, it was just that small 15-16 pie that they all have shrunken to because of cost cutting into profit. One of our pies was to have full Pepperoni and meatballs but I guess they ran short that day, if you are going to charge me $6 bucks for add on's, put them on. Strike 1. Also the $14. Order or Calamari was half of what everyone else in town gives you for $10. Strike 2. We asked for extra sauce, glad to pay for it if necessary, but no extra sauce. Lastly, The wings were less than sub par, very greasy and tiny, we requested the hot sauce be left off and on the side but someone didn't see that message. Strike 3. Overall... The pizza was very good but that's it.

If you want good authentic pizza, i highly recommend Primo's Pizza. it's located right next door to ShopRite. They are not picky on the portion sizes on your pizza. You get your money's worth. The cleanliness of the pizzeria, friendliness of the staff and quality of the food gets 5 Stars from me!!

I don't understand why this bad rating for the restaurant, I think it deserves a 5 star rating, the food is excellent, the staff, the owner everyone is very cool. Definetly worth visiting

Glad this place is close to home... I get the very reasonably priced eggplant parmesan... Nice bread... I just inhale the nicely packed hot sub.. I may just get it well done next time with some fresh garlic... Thumbs up.
