Przekaż informację zwrotnąThe restaurant charges 25% more than what is listed on the menu. The owner claims their suppliers have increased prices drastically, so they have not updated the menu prices. This new pricing structure is similar to fine dining, despite the restaurant having limited seating capacity. It is a small, window-in-the-wall type of establishment.
You won't find better Indian cuisine anywhere near here! There are so many delicious and unique dishes to choose from. Chef Joel has never failed to impress me with his creations. I highly recommend this restaurant!
My experience at Jovani's Kitchen last night was fantastic! I decided to stop by on a whim after passing by, looking for a restaurant without a long wait or blaring big screen televisions. The owners were friendly and welcoming, and gave great menu suggestions when we couldn't decide. We ordered samosas and shared the veggie bowl for two, which included tasty dal, spiced vegetables, basmati rice, and a cucumber onion salad. We took our food next door to Local Pour and enjoyed it with some Traverse City wines. The food was so delicious that we went back for seconds, trying the aloo paratha, which was also amazing. I can't wait to try more dishes from their menu. These kind people are cooking up incredible dishes from scratch in an area with limited global options. Please show them support - you won't be disappointed.
Another 5 star review. We were traveling in the area and ate here twice. The food was great! They only do take out but they have some nice outdoor seating or you can eat at the Local Pour tasting room next door if you are looking for alcoholic beverages.
Some food is good (samosas and fish tacos)!!! Would like an option for more spice(emphasis on spice not adding jalapeños) the food doesn’t have much flavor. I would opt for memories of India in st joseph.
