La grignotheque - Saverdun

In a well designed and crafted dinning room, you’ll be served local food with a touch of creativity. The menu is great and can accommodate most people, I really recommend their version of the Paris Brest The Grigno Brest

What a surprise to find a really good restaurant tucked away next to the church in Saverdun. Especially as their publicity is virtually all word of mouth! Lovely terrace on the church square , and good choice on the lunch menu, using all locally obtained produce. This restaurant is always full , so make sure you phone as soon as you can for a table! Tip ask for a table with shade apt lunch , as it can get quite hot.

Interesting dishes, nicely presented, and good value. Wine list different from the usual, yet fairly priced (co-owner is a trained wine waitress). Stylish decor. Friendly welcome.

Food, service and atmosphere were all wonderful. We had Sunday lunch, the staff were very welcoming and English friendly, but not over the top. Service was faultless. I ate octopus bruschetta followed by cod with a bernaise sauce, my husband had duck gizzards with asparagus followed by beef tartare and frites. Dessert chocolate fondant and local speciality chocolate flocon. We shared everything and everything was delicious. Well worth seeking out.

En chambre d'hotes dans le coin nous sommes venus manger en soirée sur recommandation de nos hôtes. Cadre très sympa entre l'église et la mairie. Penser à réserver pour s'assurer une place en terrasse. Dans l'assiette, excellent rapport qualité prix pour la formule a 28€ (entrée plat dessert). Service attentionné, carte des vins accessible et variée. Une réussite!
