Yia Yia's Kitchen - Savannah

Living close to this place is going to be very bad for my wallet. I think I’ve been almost once a week since I moved here. Chicken gyro is amazing. Every dessert is amazing.

During my recent visit here, I was really impressed by the entire experience. Ordered the Falafel Hummus Platter, as well as a Gyro sandwich, and both were very tasty.

Food is always excellent. The last time I went (beginning of January) ... There was 4 of us and only 2 in our group got our food. After 20 minutes I asked about the food ordered for the other 2 in our group. ... It was forgotten about, and they had to immediately make it. However, this is not a common thing to happen at the restaurant.

Yia Yia's is my favorite lunch spot around Savannah area! I have not found a casual authentic Greek restaurant that can top this. Portions are great, and it is easy to pickup or dine in. I love that there is also a parking spot. Super tasty fresh!

Absolutely best food and the service is AWESOME too. They are always happy and willing to answer questions about their various items on the menu. And let me say the Spanacopita (I hope I spelled it right) is perfection. The spinach is not bitter and is like butter melting in your mouth. There is just not enough space to talk about all the wonderful things on the menu so please go try this place out!
