Wet Willie's - Savannah

We were fortunate that the restaurant was open at noon on Christmas Day. We entered right when they opened, and the manager was very kind to let us sit down while they finished setting up. The food was surprisingly good, especially for a small chain. Everything tasted incredibly fresh, particularly the fish tacos—light and flaky with perfectly cooked fish. The shrimp and grits were also delightful, with fresh, firm shrimp that made each bite enjoyable. The frozen drinks were decent; however, they had a bit too much alcohol for my taste since I don’t drink much these days and usually don’t have a drink before dinner. We checked out a few other places in Savannah, but none compared to Wet Willie's. I was genuinely impressed!

I'm currently enjoying a girls' trip at the DoubleTree by Hilton, and we had our first dinner here. We picked this spot because it was convenient and cozy. I ordered the Monkey Shine daiquiri along with a Buffalo Chicken Wrap and fries. Everything was delicious, and the fries were particularly great! We're definitely planning to return for more drinks while we explore!

Everything tasted incredibly fresh, especially the fish tacos; the oil was clean, and the fish was perfectly flaky and golden. The shrimp and grits were also fantastic, with fresh, firm shrimp that were delightful from the first bite to the last. The frozen drinks were decent, though they had a bit too much alcohol for my taste, as I tend to drink less these days and don’t usually have a habit of drinking before dinner. We tried a few other places in Savannah, but none compared to Wet Willies. I was genuinely surprised!

Your chicken wings are big. Your Daquiri is super good. You have a lot of taste and get drunk.

I came mainly for the food I wanted shrimp and grits and was not disappointed!! They tasted amazing! The service was good. They have a great selection of slushies and are generous with the liquor loved it! We sat outside and you can easily hear the band playing at the nearby bar if you like the music style, you will love it. Would definitely return here the next time in savannah for some food and drinks.
