Everything is fresh and homemade and the story behind the restaurant makes you feel even more at home. Ronnie the server will leave you with a smile on your face. If in Savannah I highly recommend! A little hard to find, but it's worth it.
We were here a few times. Almost every time we're in Savannah. The food and service is great, and the price is much less than the popular places. This time my wife got a special treat. She always admired the blue agave plant and wanted one for years. This time they began to admire it and gave it a small one that grows behind the large plant. They also found a pot, blade and pot bottom. Just good people.
Wonderful hidden gem in Savannah! Food was some great mom and pap homemade cooking and the gentleman who served us was absolutely charming.
I was really excited to eat here, I found it driving through the alleyway it’s in and then looked it up to find food tours stop here, which got be hyped! To preface this, I’m vegetarian so BBQ isn’t the best genre for me to review but, there is room for sides! That being said, the sides were nothing to write home about. However, my date got the chicken and licked the plate clean! Something I can review is the sweet tea (I’m an affection-ado) and it was wayyy too sweet All in all, the service was phenomenally nice and the ambiance was unique so 4 stars for you should try, but nothing to go back to.
Great place to eat, feel like you're back in tin. My favorite type of place, Ma and Pa seats about 10 people. Large ribs and chicken it falls from the bone. We loved the Okra and tomatoes they were awesom. Really nice people you feel like you went to Grandma's house for dinner. Recommended this place, it's out of the way, but walking distance from hotels in Bay Street.
