The Cotton Exchange - Savannah

This place is one of the best places we have eaten in 4 days. Absolutely one of the best in Savahnna, GA. The bartender is off the chain awesome!! Can't pass it up! Shrimp plate pork chop plate. Calamari appetizer is off the charts as well.

The food was decent overall, but the chowder was excessively salty and inedible. On a positive note, the staff was extremely friendly, and the ambiance had a charming old pub vibe, which I really liked.

We saw a few videos of this restaurant through YouTube travel bloggers. They spoke highly of the place. We were excited to try it for our anniversary. The crab corn chowder was good (2 bowls) We both got drinks- 1 beer, 1 dark n stormy We both got meals-1 shrimp grits, 1 seafood tortellini 2 glasses of water. How it came to $130, I'll never know. The crab chowder was great, the rest of it was absolutely LACKLUSTER. Both of our mains had the same over salted strange chicken gravy that drowned out all other flavors on the plates. Waitress was simply OK. Not rude, but not pleasant. Her attitude was the equivalent of out meals if they had a personality-Bla'se. Take your hard earned money elsewhere.
