Sweet Spice - Savannah

Wow, this food was amazing! I always love to try new foods and the man that met this place. I personally had the little Ruck Chicken along with one side of white rice and plantains. All for $10. The diversity is excellent and the combinations are endless. I really would have loved selling their rumcakes on the pane, but I saved for my next visit to buy a whole cake. Just make sure you use a mask as you need one to order food.

I recently moved from Baltimore, who has a very large Caribbean diaspora. I was very pampered, but this is the next thing I found to the delicious, authentic Jamaican food I'm used to. Not to mention, it's like half the price in Savannah! Huge part for $12 — two jerk chicken breast, and a ton of cabbage, and rice and peas. The woman even gave me extra jerk sauce without asking! You also have tiny containers of delicious hot sauce that you can grab. All were friendly and ingenious. Just a great experience. Thanks sweet and spice for existing! *Something I forgot to mention - one of the chicken breast was perfectly moist while the other was dry and chew. That's on me. It is always a risk when you order chicken breast everywhere. There is a reason why in Jamaica they only use thighs.

Thank you to the two young lady at the counter. I've never been here and I've said I'll give you your best. Oktails was the best, but I chose Curry Chic. It was just before closing and they served me happy. As a new year eve, I expected to hurry the service. But even the conversation was great and positive. Thank you for a great start to a new year.

The food is absolutely amazing and the portions are very generous. The people who work there are very friendly and funny. It's great if you close your eyes you can imagine yourself in the Caribbean. The Jerk chicken is my favorite

Based on some of these reviews, we need to go on a good day because the food was very good. It was well seasoned, although I am not 100% sure which part of the cow was used to fill the oxen. We eat oxen wherever we go, and these were cooked and seasoned well. The curry goat, beef and beef stew were good. Customer service wasn't bad, but it wasn't great either. I'll eat again.
