Sweet Potatoes Kitchen - Savannah

True South Food. This is a great culinary experience. Sweet tea was also incredible. My favorite was the sweet potato cake. Yes I had this before my food and I don't regret it at all. I'm definitely back.

I often feel weird to eat alone, but Caroline and the entire Sweet Potatoes staff made me feel at home. Not to mention, the food was spectacular and cheap. Thank you.

Mac in cheese was completely unseasonal, fortunately I took it to the rental house and used some spices, chicken broth and pepper jacket cheese to bring a better texture and taste. Collard Greens were great and banana pudding was delicious, but I was not excited to find my Togo Box had the pudding in the to (smaller) side of the container instead of the bottom, which significantly influenced portion size...at 7.25 I expected more, but at least it was fresh n delicious. All in all, really sweet service people but need more attention to detail on the food flavors and portioning.

Best restaurant in Savannah! We ordered the Ruck chicken with lubricated sweet potatoes, black eye bean relish and dilled Lima beans, and the pecan-crusted chicken with sweet potatoes and lemon collars. It was all fantastic. The Ruck Chicken was sweet and smokey with the right amount of spices. The lubricated sweet potatoes and relish were the perfect companion. The pecan chicken was just as good, with crispy pommes and brownish greens. The food was fresh and so tasteful. Save space for Dessert! The coconut cake and the banana pudding were amazing. My wife cost the coconut cake in restaurants all over the country and said it was the best she ever had. Also excellent, friendly service with great food recommendations! Pro tip arrive early on Saturday to avoid the rush. On his way out, a local said that this is the best restaurant in Savannah, and we agree!

I?m so glad we decided to give this place a try on the last night of our vacation. It was delicious. My husband got the Jamaican jerk chicken and loved it. I got the peach glazed bbq chicken with garlic mashed potatoes and roasted brussel sprouts and I loved everything. The peach glaze was so so good. If we?re ever back in Savannah, we will definitely be back to Sweet Potatoes.
