My boyfriend chose the spicy tuna and avocado roll with four pieces of nigiri. We even received free refills on the miso soup, likely because the server was pleased to chat with me about my experience living in Japan. She shared that her restaurant is unique in that they provide larger decorative sushi pieces because many art students stop by for a light meal while studying late on their projects. They enjoy sushi zen and can have a substantial piece of sushi and a bowl of soup for just $6, allowing them to fuel their night without resorting to fast food like McDonald's or Zaxby's. If I ever find myself in Savannah again, I will definitely visit Sushi Zen. The food was delicious, and the staff was friendly and warm. It truly felt like I was back in Japan.

Wow, this is the best sushi I've had east of the Mississippi! The sake definitely adds a fun touch. You absolutely have to try the Alien and Spider rolls—they're fantastic. The shirts here are also really cool. And I must say, I couldn't help but fall for the waitress!
