Sundown Lodge - Savannah

We had an incredible dining experience with stunning views and delicious food. The staff was also very friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and will definitely return for drinks and a meal on the deck soon. It's a perfect spot on the island for a date night. Don't miss out on this place!

The menu has changed quite a bit and may feel a bit overwhelming at first, but I've grown to really appreciate it and enjoy dining there. Since the recent update around March 25, the new menu has impressed me a lot. The staff is very attentive, and Lauren, the manager, is particularly diligent. The food is of excellent quality and truly unique compared to what you typically find on Wilmington Island. It’s hard to pick a favorite dish because everything is delicious and enjoyable in its own right. I definitely recommend giving it a try. It took me some time to warm up to it, but now I really love it.

The oysters are overpriced, and the overall experience was quite mediocre. However, the waitress provided excellent service.

If you want a memorable low country dinner brought to you by the state of Georgia, this is it. The owner is a Savannah local, the branding team is from Atlanta, and the chefs are making homegrown food that would make any Georgian comfortable by the end of it. Eat here it’s worth it.
