Leopold’s Ice Cream At The Savannah/hilton Head International Airport

After we visited savannah 3 times and this stop happened because the line was ridiculous, we decided to wait and try it out. the staff was very friendly and they brought tassen water for all standing in the line. he waited about 20 minutes. my wife and I agree, we didn't understand the hype. it was good, but not the best we ever had. we are not food, but do not think we will wait again. *loss in the right direction youtube.

I love the staff bringing cups of water to people waiting outside on the line. Customer service makes the difference. Ice good too.

Here at the end of a tour stopped and was glad that it was open late (10:00 o'clock). had large gelato, ice, sweets, cookies, etc. in a good ol' fashion atmosphere. they do not expect a place to sit and enjoy them. very limited seating.

Leopoldos ice cream was good. I had a single pot of pistachio ice cream in a waffle cone and the portion size was great. the ice cream was creamy, soft, not too sweet, and the nuts added a beautiful crunch. we were about 45 minutes in the line because it was super busy, but the service was nice.

The ice cream is really mediocre, not terrible, just not special. It does not compare to any house made ice cream I have had in the Northeast.
