For starters I wanted to taste a new flavor and was told they do not do any tasting which is a first! I decided to just stick to what I know and ordered my normal order.This time I payed close attention to the order as I normally just pay without looking at the specifics of the transactions.One of the mix ins was yellow cake. The pieces of the cake are not all equal. He grabbed a piece that looked broken off so Iasked for an additional piece. Bare in mind it is for a size : love it. I normally pay for a create your own and 1 mix in. Thistime they charged for 2 . 1 mix in is included). This is not the first time it happened. The pieces are not the same and ifthat is the case they should have a standard. Not sure if I?ll be willing to give them another shot. Just another reason tostick with the locals. Vs chains.
I love Cold Stone but was very disappointed with the customer service of this one. My 7 year old niece was very excited to order her ice cream. She wanted two scoops of two different flavors. Upon ordering she told the person she wanted ?two scoopstogether?, and the person serving her mixed her two different flavors, which is not what she wanted. She just wanted two scoopsside by side. We were not upset as she is a kid and it was her wording that threw the order off. However, when I approached thecounter to re-order for her as she didn?t like how the two flavors tasted mixed together, the guy proceeded to chastise us aboutwasting food as we threw the first cup away. Yes, I get with inflation and everything else prices are elevated, but as I toldhim she is just a child (she is 7)and we are teaching her to order on her own, he proceeded to keep lecturing us about wastingfood yet again. Yes, I understand the frustration but everybody makes mistakes, we only threw away one cup, and we had alreadystated we did not mind paying for the thrown away cup if we had to. She will not be the first or the last and after we told himshe is just a child, he should have left it alone. I?ve worked fast food and if I got frustrated and went off on somebody forevery single time they got their order wrong and needed something changed or taken off, I would be rich enough to not have towork fast food She did not order wrong on purpose or to hurt the business and to do that in front of a child, clearly upset herand made her feel worse for a simple common mistake. Now I am afraid she will not speak up again to order, which is what we wereworking on in the first place. Is this how you treat every customer?
We could not have been happier with our special order cake. The online ordering was very easy to build our custom cake. The schedule option when we wanted to pick it up was simple. And the cake was made exactly to our specifications for a veryimportant event. Thank you! Thank you!
Hands down one of the best ice screen place, they got smoothie, milkshake, waffle cones cone, ice cream you scream everybody scream
Pros: Perfect ice cream, always get what I want, best for online orders Cons: Dine-in is too slow. I witnessed so many customers waiting like 5 minutes on busy days and once it's their turn to order, they'll also spend like another 5 minutes asking andhesitating on what they want. Many customers never know what they really want until it's their turn to order. The 2 staffworking there(there are 3 teens as staff now, boss not included since he works only few days) are young and take too much timeadded to those that waste too much time asking what is what instead of ordering. PS: I was on my way to pickup an onlineorder(marked ready) and received the call(I added a screenshot but I don't know why it doesn't show up) from Cold Stone Creameryto tell me that they're out of my items. I asked to make sure and the caller pronounced my name to verify that it's me. I wasalready there, so I went in and I was given my correct order. I looked at the phone number that called me and noticed that itwas from New Jersey(I use my earbuds to pickup calls while driving, so I didn't focus on the caller). I don't know how an onlineorder in Savannah ended up mixed up with another Cold Stone Creamery in NJ. I hope you fix this type of misleading issue.
