On the bright side, the food was as impressive as the view, at least for the dish we both ordered. We indulged in the sausage and biscuit supreme, and it truly lived up to its name! The two biscuits were so fluffy they almost floated off the plate, and they were nicely anchored by sweet and savory pan-fried ham, all generously topped with rich and creamy sausage gravy dotted with hearty chunks of peppery sausage. To complete the dish, two eggs adorned the enormous plate—my eggs were prepared over easy, while my husband opted for scrambled with cheese. In summary, if you find yourself in Sault Ste. Marie, you should definitely visit Captain's Pub Grill for the amazing view and delicious breakfast.

This restaurant boasts a gorgeous setting, a calming ambiance, and excellent service along with delicious food. The prices are reasonable, and they offer a full bar. Plus, there are TVs available for enjoying sports.

As a passionate food lover, I regret my decision to dine at this restaurant and take full responsibility for it. If you are the owner or know the owner, I strongly encourage you to visit the restaurant and assess the situation or bring in a manager. Your staff is not effectively representing your establishment. The menu feels outdated, the decor lacks charm, and the waitstaff often appear to be dissatisfied. Regarding the food, the gumbo is just average at best, and the recommended chicken sandwich was bland and lacking in flavor. Please don’t allow chain restaurants to overshadow you; it’s time to take action and revitalize this place. The view of the locks and parks is lovely, but serious improvements are needed. Please seek help!

To make matters worse, there was something that looked like salty snot, which was supposedly guacamole. I wasn't just disappointed; I was genuinely frustrated—mostly with myself for falling for a menu that boasted about hand-stretched tortillas. For a restaurant that claims to be a culinary establishment, I expected much more than fast food served on a ceramic plate.
