Border Cafe - Saugus

The margaritas are good everywhere. The chips are hot and you can do as much as you want. We always get a page of chopped Cilantro to make the salsa more authentic. The food here has always been good. The service is excellent. We've been here for over a decade. Please bring back the crustacean vinegar and the blackened chicken salad.

Live atmosphere, faster, more accurate service. Portions were perfect - not too little, maybe a little expensive for the area, but according to NYC standards quite expensive. Flavors of different things tried were not amazing, but quite good.

There was bunnies hopping around outside and very cute. The place has not changed in the last 10 years, good food decent prices. It always sounds busy in there even when it's not .

My wife and I stopped here for lunch. I was disappointed, given the decoration there's were Mexico focused, including murals depicting a mariachi band, they were not playing that type of music. It was modern country. Service was terrific. Fast and attentive. We had tortilla chips and salsa (which were both very good) as we say down. We did not have to wait to put orders in for drinks, waitress was right there. The margaritas were good enough. I got a fajita salad with chicken. My wife got fish tacos. The food was just ok. The chipotle dressing for my salad was way too sweet.
