Pop's Nightclub Concert Venue - Sauget

The top review here is spot on: this is not the venue you want your favorite artist to perform at. We've decided not to attend shows for bands we like at this place anymore, as it’s probably the worst venue in St. Louis, and the atmosphere is even worse. I've been here four times in my younger days, and each time the floor was incredibly sticky, the staff was rude, and the bathrooms looked like a scene from a horror film. The security personnel are unusually aggressive too; we're just there to enjoy a show, after all. While it may not be as terrifying as some people claim, it's certainly recklessly maintained. As for the sound quality, it leaves much to be desired but isn't the absolute worst in St. Louis—so you might as well just head into a dive bar instead.

This place really brings out the party animal in me. Although I’m older and a bit more reserved now, I still fondly remember the original 'log cabin' venue with its multiple stages, levels, and the nostalgic scent of years of spilled beer. When it burned down, it was devastating; there was nothing left. Then came the new venue, featuring a large stage, a big crowd, and that classic Arena Rock vibe. I'm planning a special trip back to St. Louis just to enjoy a wild night of beer, pool, jerseys, and metal music. I can hardly wait, and I truly hope it happens. Keep rocking!

Great venue with affordable drinks. I always enjoy visiting Pops for a concert or a wrestling show.

Last week I was getting elbowed hard in the stomach from the place of vomiting in a garbage can AFTER during a mosh pit. I was just four songs in one of my favorite bands before they kicked me out. I'd rather go away for four hours, then come back to this Sh*t hole.

We had some hurdles to overcome when it came to getting my 11yr old daughter to her first concert. I reached out to the venue and was pleasantly surprised when Mr. Kelley of Events and Marketing more than bent over backward to make sure she was able to comfortably attend the show. We all had a great experience, and she had the absolute time of her life watching Demon Hunter and her new favorite band Opponent, who were gracious enough to spend time with her after the show, and even gave her autographed merch to go along with the Opponent pick and Demon Hunter set list she'd already been given.I don't believe any of this would've been possible without Mr. Kelley's outstanding customer service. Thank you again, sir!
