Slices Of Saugerties

My husband and I were staying at The Emerson Resort in Phoenicia. We told the woman at the front desk we were heading to Saugerties for the day. She raved about the pizza and garlic knots at this place called Slices. We took her advice and man ohman was it delicious! The best pizza I?ve ever had. Fresh, great sauce, and the crust was thin and crisp. Just a perfect slice. The young man who was making the pie was also very sweet and kind. A definite GO! Wish I could find pizza like that in OrangeCounty, NY!

Been a fan for years but food quality has gone down the tubes! Every dish ordered for a long time has changed in quality of ingredients turning into less of good , more of cheap even to the point of old food. The owner is like absent for sure!

Tasty slices, gluten free pizza available (made in same kitchen and oven so may not work for those with cross contamination concerns). Very friendly staff. Good music. Was not too crowded when we went for a late lunch on a Sunday in August.

Ordered take out 2 pizza's and 2 salads, as well as 2 orders of wings. Pizza's were ok, definitely nothing special. The salads were a big disappointment with the majority of the lettuce being spoiled and inedible. One order of wings was buffaloand OK but the 2nd was garlic parm and so overcooked that some wings contained no meat what so ever. Sorry but hopefully itwas a bad day but wouldn't recommend.

We're vegetarian. Garlic knots incredible. Highly recommend. Pizza diane was neither too slimy nor undercooked veggie. Love it.
