Le Magny - Sassenay

Le magny is exactly what we expect a restaurant in rural france served traditionally based food with good fresh ingredients and some new touches. the menu is small as expected, with sufficient variation and good value. the wine list includes burgundern, which are beautiful weine and are good value. eating was delicious and the service attentive, but not intrusive. for our lunch, this included snails, frying and even crumbs. it was a balanced and well-equipped eating. we had much worse meals in Michelin-star restaurants.

The service was excellent, but the menu was quite limited. eating was good, although everything was not on our taste. the atmosphere was good and it is a restaurant good worthing back.

We were on holiday in a gite in this village last week (ab juni) so a restaurant with a good tripadvisor score was a real bonus. we had arrived a very good meal at a reasonable price on Saturday, but there were only 2 decisions for beginners and main course. we wanted to eat there again against the end of the week, but the menu had hardly changed so that we decided to go to the nearby Chalons-sur-Soane. a big scandal, especially since the restaurant was quite quiet when we were there. Perhaps the restaurant would be more business if there were more choice on the menu and it was changed more frequently. the staff was friendly and helpful. we would recommend this restaurant.

Super culinary experience, 2 menus to test without delay, super welcome, beautiful presentation, fine dishes, delicious, we are not talking about the dessert that is sublime. frankly I highly recommend
