Umi Sushi Express - Saskatoon

This is a budget-friendly Japanese fast food restaurant with incredibly friendly staff and quick service. Located conveniently on campus, it offers a wide variety of dishes. The mini donburi is particularly delicious, and there are plenty of healthy options to choose from.

The bento boxes are plentiful! The bubble drinks are also very refreshing!

It's a mixed experience. I tried some sushi that was overly sweet, while other pieces were just okay. I wouldn't call it great sushi, but it’s the only place on campus that serves it, so people keep coming back. Honestly, I'm just really hungry, so my opinions might be influenced by the hype rather than the quality.

The choice is always good, the staff is very polite, and they offer bogo 1/2 of their sushi tablets near the close

Really not a fan of the sushi here. There were slices of cucumber sticking out of one piece that were all different lengths and everything was trying to fall out so it was hard to eat. It did not taste very fresh at all so I don't eat the sushi from here anymore. I gave 2 stars because the workers are always nice.
