If you decide to dine in, be prepared for subpar service. I've been to the 8th Street location many times, and I'm always pleased with the experience there—my family agrees as well. This particular location seems more geared towards business people, rather than families or casual diners. If you’re wearing casual street clothes and opt not to eat in, be ready for some judgment, especially from a staff member whose name starts with a J.
When our food arrived, it had a strange smell. We both ordered noodle bowls—mine was BBQ chicken and my partner's was pork. The first few bites were okay, but as we dug deeper into the bowls, we discovered that the greens were completely old and wilted. It was absolutely disgusting. I can't understand how this could happen or how they would allow such poor quality food to leave the kitchen. You could clearly see the condition of the greens through the transparent container. This is unacceptable. I won't be ordering from Thiens again; it feels like a waste of money.
I ordered the 91 chicken, but this time they served it with less rice than usual. It seemed like there was only half the portion.
Food is always good and its a good amount for cheap
