Prairie Harvest Cafe - Saskatoon

The brunch was excellent, but I had made a reservation using OpenTable and when I arrived, the hostess could not find my reservation.

We were seated next to the kitchen, which was quite noisy with a lot of clanging and banging noises. The perogies were delicious and we will definitely be returning for those. However, the main dishes - the lasagna and the chicken pot pie - were bland and underseasoned.

Charming and distinctive, this restaurant is a hidden treasure. I appreciated their use of locally sourced ingredients and their creative twists on traditional dishes. However, if you prefer a wide variety of options on the menu, this may not be the best choice for you.

This restaurant is consistently excellent and one of our favourite restaurants in Saskatoon.
