Go For Sushi Buffet - Saskatoon

I had a very disappointing experience at Go for Sushi on 8th Street tonight. I tried calling (306) 931-8898 at 4:00 pm to place a small pick-up order, but kept getting a recording saying no one could answer. After 15 minutes, I drove to the restaurant and placed my order in person at 4:30 pm. The person taking my order explained that the phone had not been properly suspended, causing the issue. I was told it would take 15 minutes, so I took my dog for a walk around the parking lot and returned after 20 minutes. I spoke to two different people who didn't know where my order was, but eventually a young man said he would get it right away and disappeared into the back. I ended up waiting 40 minutes instead of the promised 15. When I finally received my order, it had taken over an hour from the initial call to getting my food. The food was okay, but the long wait and poor service means I won't be returning to this restaurant.

I have been a regular at this restaurant for many years, back when I was too afraid to try sushi. Now, I am a huge fan. The tablet ordering system is quick and easy. Even if someone in your group doesn't like sushi, there are plenty of other delicious options on the buffet. The sushi here has something for everyone.

The Alaska roll and spicy salmon roll at this restaurant were drowning in sauce. It seemed like they used an entire bottle on just two rolls, making it difficult to taste anything else. The rolls were more like sauce than sushi. I would give it 2 stars, but the red dragon roll was surprisingly delicious without the overpowering sauce.

My favourite place for everything you can eat sushi in saskatoon? the staff is friendly, and eating is always freshly delicious. I have ordered, take them a handful of times from here as well, and it always comes fresh the presentation is great? I would recommend to them, for each of their dining rooms needs lunch, dinner or take-out!

The fish has a reasonably good texture despite being flash frozen for shipping. The buffet is usually well stocked and has a good assortment. There are lots of sushi options for those who don't like the idea of raw fish.The service used to be excellent and is now still very good; just don't go when the place is packed or you may, for obvious reasons, go overlooked for long periods.Overall I recommend it
