Great Soup. This quaint, cozy spot is, as mentioned, on the 2nd floor of Charter House Interiors in an old Heritage Building with alot of charm. The homemade soup is the best that I have had since my Grandmother's(maybe even better! There are always a handful of daily soup selections, of both the hearty healthier choices. The Pepper Pot Soup and The Cream Cheddar Spud Soups are at the top of my list. A homemade roll or bannock, with a cookie and coffee (hot fresh on the side tops it off. I am told the Panini's Sandwhich's are also excellent, but I never have room. I believe you can also have your choice of soup in a bread bowl. This is a great little hidden spot you can browse through Charter House on the way up. I always leave with a a warm and fuzzy feeling after having a fresh, warm tasty bowl of goodness P.S. The ladies behind the counter are great and if your soup is not as hot as you like, I'm sure they would heat it up for you.

Enjoyed the atmosphere of the coffee shop, but the ladie working there put the closed sign up and apologized saying she wanted to get off work early (about 3 hours before close), I wasn't very impressed, but we convinced her to let us have a beverage.. It was good besides this employee

Great soup, amazing prices. It is on the second floor of an furniture/interior design store and well worth the trip. The soup is so good and their prices are very good. Their Julia Child 's French Onion Soup is the best I have tasted so far in restaurants in the city and is far better than any of the 'higher end ' places in town.

This is a really quaint place to eat. It's in the upstairs of a nice furniture shop, so you get to look at interesting furniture while you eat. My husband and I each had a soup and sandwich/wrap, and they were really tasty. The price is really good, and they practically give the desserts away, they're so inexpensive. The only thing is that it's CASH ONLY so that could be an inconvenience if you don't carry cash.

Some Guy. Loved the soup, the coffee was luke-warm and nothing special, and (I'm told) the panini were perfectly serviceable. All this, for quite cheap. Not bad for a cafe in a furnature store.
