Le Cesar Pizza - Sarreguemines

We walked into Le Cesar to a very modern looking establishment; the entire staff was smiling and very welcoming! The house red wine was very good and the two pizzas we ordered were excellent! My wife likes to order her quattro formaggi pizza with arrugula - as no one in France, it seems, speaks a lick of English or German, she couldn't get her request understood immediately; however, as the staff was more than willing to work with her, she was able to walk up to where the pizzas were made and visually locate her greens. I kept it simple and closed my eyes and pointed to something on the menu, which ended up being a wonderful ham, cheese and egg pizza! If you've never had a sunny-side egg on a pizza, you ought to! And while this egg was a little over cooked, it was still very tasty! We ended the meal with some Ben and Jerry's ice cream, which they presented to us in a small carton with a wooden spoon. I suppose they could have taken it out of the carton, but it was fun nonetheless; and they gave us an additional metal spoon. Overall, a very pleasant night at Le Cesar - two thumbs up!
