All their dishes are a visual and culinary treat. And the ladies themselves are so warm and approachable, you feel very well taken care of. Non vegetarian, vegetarian or vegan whoever you are, you need to treat yourself to a Smart Alec experience. You will definitely go back for more. P.S I would recommend trying their pizzas, if you are a pizza person. Hands down the best vegan pizza I have had in my life.
Tucked away in the quietude of Silent Valley hills, Jubilee Hills, Smart Alec Alternative Deli welcomes vegans and plant based food enthusiasts. I loved the friendly staff, the flamboyant ambiance and the good music. The owners were kind enough to help me order the best food. If you're looking for the most affordable, unorthodox and tasty vegan food, this is your place. I will come back again. My best wishes to the co founders. PS I'll say this again. Their Fresh Summer Rolls steal the show!
Anyone visiting Hyderabad, I would strongly recommend a visit to Smart Alec. I find vegan food in India can be hit and miss. This fully vegan restaurant is really amazing and they've really thought well about how to craft their dishes. I tried the vegan butter chicken, apple crumble, cheesy fries and margarita pizza. I can't complain.. Everything was perfect.
YAY for one more vegan restaurant in India! Love the location of the cafe, in a beautiful bunglow, open to street furries and pets as well. Coco turned out to be an amazing host indeed ; The food was all kinds of amazing. Ended up at Smart Alec twice in a span of 5 days, so fortunately got to taste most of the items on the menu. The cheesy fries are by far the best I've ever had (non-vegan included . The chaas was very refreshing and quite unbelievable that it's vegan. Pizzas and sandwiches were super cheesy, and the warm potato salad felt like a giant hug. It's also affordably priced, and even better if you visit as a bigger group. If you're in Hyderabad, please don't miss this cafe. Kudos to Mansi and Sanjna for putting this together successfully. All the very best :
At first when I arrived, it was away from the busyness of Hyderabad that I was uncertain I was at the right place. Until I was greeted with warm welcomes and sent to the right direction, I knew I was at the right place! The atmosphere was warm and relaxing. The menu had quite a few options that I didn’t know what to choose! But I met the owner (one of them) and she was very sweet, knew what to suggest and also very accommodating! The food I had was delicious! I forgot to take a picture of my main course but I did get one of my dessert which was the warm apple crumb! Note I asked them to make it smaller for me as I was already full but I couldn’t pass on this! I will be back especially during my stay in Hyderabad for the next 6 months!
