Victory Buffet - Sarnia

Tuesday July 11, 2023 1pm I called to speak to the manager, two days ago to reserve a table for 8 plus, a service dog. I asked to have the table for 8 in the room off the buffet room, so the dog would be under the table and out of the way!! The C shaped table, the one opposite to the hall leading to the washrooms. I also asked if I could come in early to prepay the bill. They said yes. Obviously, it wasn't a manager I was speaking too, as they would have recognized it was a good idea to keep the service dog out of the main thorough fare of the restaurant!!! Not only did they not reserve the table I asked for, it was empty, I went in early and they didn't know how to let me prepay the bill...so when we left I left them the smallest tip I have left in years, to show them how perturbed I was....We were celebrating two birthdays, I would never recommend this place for anything now...Such a big disappointment ...The drink service wasn't very good either and we were sitting there for over 20 minutes after finishing our lunch, -before I finally got up and went to pay the bill....Thank God we had all been there before and had known how good it can be.....Not this Time!!! Then I find out after we took the party home that your birthday is supposed to be half price there... No one asked or offered...Enough said. JRS

As a local I go here quite often. Always happy with the food and the service. It takes a well managed kitchen to keep so many options fresh and appetizing. Well done.

I've eaten here before and the food was always good. Unfortunately this time our dinner for 6 was delivered cold and the chicken was not like any chicken I've ever had before. The chicken balls were overcooked and hard, not sure if the Victory Buffet has new owners or new cooks, but whatever it is they need to correct. Very disappointed and it was a low on a New year's Eve celebration.

Recently we took our daughter and her friends for a birthday dinner, the wait staff are very welcoming, courteous and quick and the food was delicious and plentiful. Everyone had a nice time and ate til they were full. We will be returning.
