Selina's Thai - Sarnia

Having lived in Hamilton and Toronto for most of my life, and having actually stays 2 months in Thailand and 1 year in Vietnam , I can honestly say, I don’t recognize what I was eating. If doesn’t taste anything like Thai food. Since moving to Sarnia I’ve been missing being able to eat out . There’s virtually no where to eat Thai food anywhere in Sarnia. The fast food tie at the mall has more flavour than what I got it Selena Thai. I’ve also stopped going there because it taste like cleaning chemicals.If your and aspiring Thai cook thinking of opening a Thai restaurant and you plan on serving actual Thai food, you’ll certainly have my business, but it seems the good folks of Sarnia wouldn’t know Thai food if it slapped then in the face.That being said I do not know the nationality of the owners or cook, and did not try any Vietnamese dishes. So they very well could be fine. But I’ve learned to make better Thai food at home , out of necessity.I am not leaving this review to be mean, they seem very nice. It’s just not Thai food.

Food was yummy! Nice saucy Pad Thai and delicious appetizers. Lots of shrimp and chicken in the Pad Thai. Food was made quickly. No seating to eat in is the only drawback. Made a mistake and happily fixed it. Thank you!Food: 5/5

Delicious!! I was craving Pad Thai and Selina's delivered! Restaurant is currently PICK UP/ TAKE OUT ONLY, but my family agreed before going in that, if she didn't have sit down options, we'd take it back to the hotel. No complaints!Pad Thai mild very mild!! If you like a bit of bite, go for medium spice. VERY generous protein portions!Hot Sour Prawn soup spicy!! If you can't handle heat, pick something else!Parking: Located in a strip plaza, lots of parking available.

My husband just picked up pad Thai for both of us. The noodles were so over cooked, there was no flavour and it was just overall so disappointing. We haven’t had Selena’s in over a year and we will 100% not be going back. So sad…

Food was decent but multiple items were forgotten from our breakfasts. Had to keep asking for the items.Waitress was nice though.
