Nick's Family - Sarnia

Meat lovers' buffet. No big buffet, but very good food. Two types of fish, fall from bone ribs, salad bar, large fried chicken and more. I would recommend this place.

I’m giving this restaurant a 5-star rating this time because my experience was excellent. I had the chicken Caesar salad again, and the waitress was very attentive and quick. There were only a few other customers in the restaurant around 3 a.m., which made the atmosphere much more enjoyable compared to our first visit. The prices are also reasonable. This could become our new go-to spot for a quick and affordable meal. The only downside was the beef stew soup, which was quite thick and not very flavorful.

All the dishes, from the hot entrees to the cold house salads, were excellent. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive, and we wish her a wonderful trip to Greece this week. The atmosphere was welcoming, and it was evident that many customers were regulars, as the waitstaff seemed to know most of them. That’s always a good sign! Thank you for a lovely dinner. The only downside was the stuffed green peppers— the rice inside wasn’t cooked quite enough. However, we will definitely give them another chance next time.

My boss and my dad both really enjoy eating here. It's easier on your wallet than most places, and you get a lot of food if you eat at the buffet. It has the feel of a rustic diner and each time I've been there, it has been largely frequented by seniors. The service was good, and the food was not fancy, but it's not bad. Dessert options were likely inspired by the fact that there were so many seniors there ; I'd give it a 3.5 if half stars were options.

They should have all day breakfast. Lunch was nothing special. Service was slow even though we were 1 out of 3 tables.
