Limbo Lounge - Sarnia

Service, absolutely horrible. Waited and waited for food, people who came in 30 minutes after we did were served before us. Food, was ok.

Visited Limbo's for a business dinner in early April 2017. Had an awesome porterhouse. Would highly recommend this restaurant.

My friend and I were trying to go to Sideways but the hostess seemed confused on seating us so we ventured elsewhere. We landed on Limbo's as I haven't been in years and my friend said they had renovated. We had lunch and it was really good. I definitely suggest ordering the Phad Thai but ask for half the noodles, otherwise the dish was delish!

Joined a friend for lunch mid-week and restaurant was empty for at least half an hour while we were there. For a waterfront city, Sarnia needs to tout its best and this place is an example of how no-one could find it except for the locals. No exciting sign outside promising some great food experience inside. How can visitors to the city look down the length of the main street and be encouraged to even take a stroll when this place is less than half-way and could entice business. I digress. I often judge the quality of food in a restaurant by their Caesar salad and my friend and I both ordered half a lunch size, she with a side of chicken. Unfortunately, it was the same as Boston Pizza - limp, limp, limp and overdressed. And absolutely no reason for it when there were only two other patrons in the restaurant. A glass of wine and half a salad costs the better part of $20 thanks to our horrific taxes. Table next to us ordered the special which was a penne pasta and was absolutely huge and could easily feed a small family as was the hamburger plate for the other diner. Hamburgers and sandwiches include a soup or salad which is a good addition for the price which was around $15 each. Server was very attentive and unobtrusive however, don't think we'll return. Prefer a busy-ness with vibrancy either in color and/or atmosphere. Limbo lacks in both.

We were a large party of 14 for a special occasion. The lounge was very nice. The service good. The menu was small and the prices were high. Steak was very good however the rest of the choices were not great. Taco starter, 3 on the plate and two of us were to share 1 was left. They were not good. Both the salmon and pickerel plates were just warm when served and very tasteless. Everyone's response was we won't be coming back.
